Bunz Android App Officially Launches / A Chat with Founder Emily Bitze

Bunz Trading Zone and community group Android app officially launches today.

Available for download as of Tuesday, March 1, 2016 the Bunz Android app can now be found within the Google Play Store. Android joins it's earlier released partner app iOS where along with the online website, Bunz is now fully accessible to users through any platform, or device.

For those who don't know, Bunz Trading Zone first began as a private, Toronto-based trading group named 'Bumz Trading Zone', though after some consideration the name was slightly changed.

Founder and Administrator of the group Emily Bitze has since developed, raised, and grown Bunz to a point to where now she easily receives hundreds of applicants a week. She says,

"I love that Bunz is accessible both online and on mobile. More importantly that we have our own home separate from Facebook. The main goal was to help Bunz facilitate their trades. It was getting evident around this time last year the fb group couldn't accommodate our needs as a community."

One great new feature the app possesses is that it allows people to rate members/traders. If Bunz break the golden rule (I.e. use cash as trade), don't show up to their trade, or cause problems, it now impacts their rating. In the Facebook group certain members have been known to unfairly get away with 'trade-murder', without any consequence, but the majority of Bunz are honest and trustworthy. As the group is known to be a safe haven for social interaction, is not uncommon for misleading users to simply be banned.

"The Facebook groups will stay active. The only thing next for Bunz is to continue listening to the feedback of the community and making improvements to the app. At times, there were over 3,000 people on the waiting list and I didn't want to over populate the group because so many posts are lost, etc. I'm hoping that the app will really help with that." Said Emily.

When asked, Now that both the Android and iOS apps are available, what is the next step for Bunz? Emily says,

"The next big step would be to grow the app and Bunz community to other cities."

Are you, and if so, how are you celebrating today's big launch? Emily says,

"I am too busy to celebrate big today. My celebration will take place tonight in my bed with a bowl of KD, a Bud Light Apple, and season 2 of Roseanne. Xoxo."
