1. Toronto's Official 182ND birthday party, Celebrate Toronto (Fri - Sun, Mar. 4 - 6, 2016)

An early March 5th event, Celebrate Toronto transformed the Steam Whistle Brewery grounds as part of the celebration, Toronto's 182nd birthday. The event showcased Toronto's past, present, and future as local artists, entertainers and businesses highlighted our greatest strengths. #CelebrateToronto
2. Two pandas, a Premier, and a Prime Minister walk into a zoo.. (Mon, Mar. 7, 2016)

Join Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Ontario Premiere Kathleen Wynne, and Toronto Mayor John Tory as the Toronto Zoo officially introduce panda cubs Jia Panpan and Jia Yueyue.
Known in English as 'Canadian Hope' (male) and 'Canadian Joy' (female) the cubs attract local citizens with their overwhelming cuteness. Toronto Zoo notes that the rest of the giant panda exhibit/experience will be closed for the day (Mar. 7, 2016), and Da Mao the elder panda will not be viewable to the public. #TOPandaCubs
3. Chill out at Art In The 6ix while the resident DJ spins birthday beats (Fri, Mar. 4, 2016)

A special 182nd birthday celebration took place at Art in the 6ix as local artists, musicians, and talent showcase their latest pieces. The multi-day festival held an all weekend event at Dundas Square where featured Art in the 6ix pieces were showcased to the public. #ArtInThe6ix
4. Sit back, relax, and stare and the CN Tower (Anytime you want...)

In honour of Toronto1's 182nd birthday celebrations the CN Tower's exterior LED lighting system will shine bright blue. When lit up at night the tower illuminates the downtown skyline and can be seen from across the GTA. #TOTurns182 #CNTower
5. After celebrating all night, enjoy some pizza at The Big Slice until 5:00 a.m. (Anytime you want...)

When the party is over and you’re still going drop into The Big Slice at 385 Yonge St. to feed your late-night hunger. The central downtown pizza parlour is open until 5:00 a.m. and make pizzas hourly until close.
